How to Send Gmail Fax

  • Open your Gmail account and compose a new message.

  • In the TO field, enter the recipient’s number.  This must be done following the structure of an email address.  In the case of RingCentral, you would add @rcfax.com to the number. MyFax on the other hand, requires you to add @myfax.com.

  • Now add the document to be faxed by attaching it to your email. You do this by clicking “Attach a file” below the subject field.

  • Enter in the message field anything you want to appear on the cover page.

  • Click Send.

That’s it! I bet you thought this would take some extra steps, but as you can see it is extremely easy.  If, on the other hand, you want to receive fax through Gmail, you just need to wait for documents to arrive in your inbox!
